Andrea Longato is a NYC-based session guitar player and educator. He has performed/recorded with some of the finest artists in the US and abroad, including Jeremy Jordan, Debora Cox, Alphonso Ribeiro, Janita, Duncan Sheik, Cady Hoffman (Tony award winner), Kaissa, Tony Vincent (“The Voice”), Justin Guarini (“American Idol”), Brooke Moriber (original cast on “Les Miserables”), Quincy Mumford, Ron Pope, Vanessa Bley (EMI Records) and Matt Doyle (from “The Book of Mormon”). He also works extensively in the Broadway/Off-Broadway circuit, and some of the music that he recorded got featured on important television networks like Disney Channel and Lifetime.On top of being a in-demand performer, he is also an established and dedicated educator, counting more than 15 years of experience teaching students of all ages/levels and collaborating with some of the most prestigious music schools in New York and Europe.As the main guitar teacher at Intersection Arts, his main goal is to keep his students engaged and passionate about music. Structure in learning is as important as helping the kids pursue their very own aspirations. Andrea provides personalized lesson plans that are tailored to the student’s needs, choosing the material from the most sought-after guitar methods and combining it with each kid’s songs of choice.In addition to his work at Intersection Arts, Andrea is also faculty member and curriculum coordinator at The Collective School of Music (Manhattan) and adjunct faculty at Third Street Music School (Manhattan).
